Hi there! I’m Richard McCray, owner of Rally Home Buyers, formerly known as GBR Home Buyers. I’ve been buying and selling houses since 2001.  Some have been to fix and flip, while others have made good rentals.  I have completed over 500 real estate transactions involving all levels of of renovations from minor cosmetics to major full gut rehabs, as well as solving a full range of complicated related issues from title problems, liens and judgments, all the way to foreclosures, short sales, probates and more.  Real estate can get complicated and make it difficult sell a house. I’ve just about seen it all and I know how to solve problems. That’s what I get paid for.  Allow me to be of service to you!  I’ll do my best to find a solution that meets your needs.



Other Team Member Roles

From time to time we have temporary sales people, photo takers, property inspectors, and others that help with day to day operations. Richard McCray manages and oversees all phases of the business and makes the major decisions. We have also developed an extensive network of private lenders and cash investors who take on some of the projects we have for the properties we buy.


Legal –  All our closings and legal issues are handled by local reputable title companies.  They insure that all legal matters are dealt with and clear title is transferred.  They handle all monetary transfers and record all the required filings.


Financing –  A network of private investors and joint venture partners supply enough capital to purchase and manage all the projects we can get on the table thus far.  We also have a growing relationship with institutional lenders who are making even more capital available to us.


Contractors –  We have relationships with several general contractors as well as subcontractors and specialists like electricians, plumbers, foundation repair, painters etc. Also, many of the investors who work with us on projects have a network of contractors and licensed tradesmen.

Administrative – I have a small team of 2 administrative assistants who help manage the research, marketing, data gathering, paperwork and other such tasks. They help keep the background tasks running smoothly.


Insurance – We insure our properties under a variety of policy types depending on the stage of repairs and whether vacant or occupied.  A short list of companies that we do or have done business with is Foremost Insurance, Kyle Carmouche Agency, and National Real Estate Insurance Group.


Agents – Yes we do work with real estate agents. They help us evaluate the market and estimate how much we can sell houses for after they have an extensive remodel. We pay agents to sell our inventory of remodeled homes and keep us informed about market trends.
